Many women are surprised by how hungry and thirsty they are in the days and weeks following birth, but this is not too surprising given the amount of energy output it takes to make, grow, and birth a baby. And then there is the
production of and the need to increase supply of breast milk which requires a very enriched diet. Did you know that the dietary requirements for a woman that is breastfeeding, are higher than she had in pregnancy. For instance, it takes 250 calories alone to produce one cup of breast milk.
This is an intentional package to nourish mothers, in between meals, during the long stints on the couch, the midnight feeds, 3:00am tests of endurance, really any time of the day!
You will receive 4-5 individual quality, filling, savoury and sweet ‘mini-meal’s each day delivered every three days over a one, two, four or six week period.
